Hello, I'm Alessandra!
I’m from Rio de Janeiro, an entrepreneur, and a tour guide since 2016.
Before creating Hike in Rio, I worked as a project and logistics manager for international agencies, working on large-scale events such as Rio+20, the 2014 FIFA World Cup, and the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
At these events, I served clients such as Asics, Latam, Deloitte, and Castrol BP, designing hospitality programs that included outdoor tours, gastronomy, accommodations, transportation, receptions, and customer service.
This is how the idea of creating an agency that offered quality adventure tourism and organized trips from start to finish – DMC – emerged.
I studied tourism to be a professional guide registered with the Brazilian Ministry of Tourism, specializing in Natural Attractions. I took courses in Environmental Education and First Aid.
